Question: A man is dying, so he calls his two sons to his side and tells them that in order to decide which will become his heir, they will have a race to a distant town. Whichever one of the sons' horses crosses the finish line last would be the heir. The two men start the race and they both use every tactic they can to stay behind the other brother. At the end of the first day they have barely gone 100 yards. They stop at an inn for the night and they tell the bartender their dilemma. He gives them each two words of advice and the next day when they start their race anew, they both race towards the other town. What were the two words of advice that the bartender gave the brothers?
Answer: "Switch horses." The father said whichever son's horse crossed the finish line last would win. If the brothers exchanged horses then the brother who crossed the finish line first would beat the other brother, who was riding his horse, and so he would become the heir.
Question: 2 princes want to marry a princess, but the king (a.k.a. the princesses dad) wants his daughter to only marry ONE prince. The king proposes that they have a race to see who will wed his child, and the princes agree. " but there is a catch..." the king says, "...whoever's horse gets there LAST will win.". The princes get on a horse and start riding as fast as they possibly can. Now remember, both princes did hear the king AND they both love the princess. Why did they go fast?
Answer: they jumped on each other's horse and rode. Remeber the king said whoever's HORSE gets there last wins! That means that the owner of the horse first loses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
