Riddle: You and Hector are in the car. You are in the passenger seat while Hector is driving. Hector is very good at driving. He closes his eyes to scare you as he is driving. You look at him and see his eyes closed. Your heart starts pounding because there is something in the road and Hector has to swerve out of the way, but with his eyes closed he can't see it, yet he still swerved out of the way and kept driving perfectly. Along with his eyes being closed the whole time, you were also silent the whole time. How is that possible that he knew something was in the way with his eyes closed?
Answer: Since you are in the passenger seat, when you look at Hector all you see is the right side of his face, only his right eye. He had his right eye closed and his left eye opened. You just couldn't see it.
Riddle: A man moved into a new house and decided he was tired after the journey and turned off all the lights and went to bed. The next morning he killed 365 people, he does not sleep walk he slept like a baby.  How could this be?
Answer: He lived in a light house.
Riddle: I have no mouth, so I cannot lie. I see the truth, without use of eyes. If you feel ready, then think carefully: What is it you see, when you look at me?
Answer: A reflection.
Riddle: A wealthy man lives alone in a small cottage. Being partially handicapped, he had everything delivered to his cottage. The mailman was delivering a letter one Thursday when he noticed that the front door was ajar. Through the opening, he could see the man's body lying in a pool of dried blood. When a police officer arrived he surveyed the scene. On the porch were two bottles of warm milk, Monday's newspaper, a catalog, flyers, and unopened mail. The police officer suspects it was foul play. Who does he suspect and why?
Answer: The police officer suspects the newspaper delivery person. The absence of Tuesday's and Wednesday's newspapers indicates that the delivery person knew there was no one there to read it.
Riddle: Soldiers line up spaced with pride, Two long rows lined side by side. One sole unit can decide If the rows will unite or divide. Tell me, tell me, scream it out. What's the thing I talk about?
Answer: A zipper.
Riddle: What did the first casket say to the second casket?
Answer: Is that you coffin?
Riddle: A woman who lived in Germany during World War II wanted to cross the German/Swiss border in order to escape Nazi pursuers. The bridge which she is to cross is a half mile across, over a large canyon. Every three minutes a guard comes out of his bunker and checks if anyone is on the bridge. If a person is caught trying to escape from the German side to the Swiss side they are shot. If caught crossing the other direction without papers they are sent back. She knows that it takes at least five minutes to cross the bridge, at which time the guard will see her crossing and shoot her. How does she get across?
Answer: She waits until the guard is inside his hut, then walks halfway across before starting to walk back. The guard, seing she has no papers, sends her "back".
Riddle: A girl just learning to drive is going the opposite way of the traffic but is not breaking the law. How is this possible?
Answer: Easy, the girl is just walking on the sidewalk. No one said she was driving at that time.
Riddle: I come in different shapes and sizes. Parts of me are curved, others are straight. You can put me anywhere you like, but there is only one right place for me. What am I?
Answer: Jigsaw puzzle pieces.
Riddle: Why didn't the skeleton use a towel?
Answer: Because he always comes out bone dry.
