Riddle: An old billionaire offers a million-dollar prize to whoever can guess what he is thinking of. Plenty of people tried but they old got it wrong, until one young boy came up. Soon after, the boy walked away a millionaire. What did he guess?
Answer: The boy said, "You are thinking of something you thought I wouldn't guess". The boy was right by technicality.
Riddle: An abundance in arms, but lacking in legs. A tall skinny body, but missing a head. I change with the seasons, it's winter I dread. What am I?
Answer: A Tree.
Riddle: Alive without breath, As cold as death, Never thirsty, Ever drinking, Clad in mail, Never clinking, Drowns on dry land, Thinks an island Is a mountain, Thinks a fountain Is a puff of air. What am I?
Answer: A fish.
Riddle: A man was found murdered in his own house on a Sunday morning. His wife called the police. The police questioned the wife and got the following alibis: The wife said she was sleeping. The Cook said he was making breakfast. The gardener said he was picking vegetables. The maid said she was getting the post. The Butler (a personal assistant) said that he was cleaning the closet. The police instantly arrested the murderer. Who did it and how did they know?
Answer: The maid. There is no post on Sunday.
Riddle: Duels of good and evil, A fighter of good am I, Revealed beside watched words, King of the black night sky. What am I?
Answer: The dark.
Riddle: A woman waved to a man in a taxi. She got into the taxi and told the taxi driver where to take her. He nodded to her and drove. The woman talked a lot and that annoyed the taxi driver. The taxi driver said," Ma'am, I can't hear what you are saying! I am as deaf as a post!" The woman stopped talking for the rest of the ride. Once she got out of the taxi, she realized he was lying. How did she know?
Answer: There are two ways she figured out: 1. He would have had to hear her to know she was talking as he was focusing on driving. 2. He would not have heard her directions if he was deaf and wouldn't have nodded in response as a way to confirm he got the directions.
Riddle: A girl just learning to drive is going the opposite way of the traffic but is not breaking the law. How is this possible?
Answer: Easy, the girl is just walking on the sidewalk. No one said she was driving at that time.
Riddle: A man was found dead out in a field of snow. The only tracks that were left was a set of footprints between two parallel lines. Who should the police be looking for?
Answer: A man in a wheelchair.
Riddle: What runs but never walks?
Answer: Water or a tap.
Riddle: I am as loud as a plane, as precise as a pen, I never run out, even when I'm on end, I can be refilled. But when I stop working, I just need to recharge. I can help you with ink and paper, just tell me when! What Am I?
