Both fit the description of the rightful heir: about the right age, height, coloring and general appearance. Finally, one of the elders proposes a test to identify the true heir. One man agrees to the test while the other flatly re-fuses. The one who agreed is immediately sent on his way, and the one who re-fused is correctly identified as the rightful heir. Can you figure out why?
Answer: The test was a blood test. The elder remembered that the true prince was a hemophiliac.

A man goes to work at the same time each day and travels part of his journey facing forwards and the remainder facing backwards. When he returns at the end of his working day, he only faces forwards.
How can this be?
Answer: He works in the engine room of a liner! To get to work, he walks along the decks from his cabin facing forwards, and down the ladders between decks facing backwards. However, when he finishes, he only needs to face forwards to climb the ladders again and walk along the deck back to his cabin.
Riddle:
A woman is walking down a street night at a constant pace. As she passes the street light, she notices that her shadow becomes longer. Does the top of her shadow move faster, slower or the same when the shadow is longer as when it is shorter?
Answer: This point maintains a constant speed, independent of the lenght of the shadow.
Riddle:
An item is made from lead blanks in a lathe shop. Each blank suffices for 1 item. Lead shavings accumulated for making 6 items can be melted and made into a blank. How many items can be made from 36 blanks?
Answer: From 36 blanks there are 36 items made. The lead shavings are enough to make 6 blanks. Which make 6 more items. But don't stop here. The new shavings are good for 1 more item. Total: 43.
Riddle:
You are locked in a house and you have four objects. You have a wooden chair, a ladder, a piano, and a rubber ax. You can only pick one object and you can't get out by breaking anything. What would you use to get out?

Two travelers spend from 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock walking along a level road, up a hill, and back again. Their pace is 4 mph on the level, 3 mph uphill, and 6 mph downhill.
How far do they walk and at what time do they reach the top of the hill?

You are in a room with one chair in the center of the room. The room is to small to lie down in or stand up in. The walls are covered in markings left by desperate men. You will have rats for company, and one window so that you can see the world that has passed you by.
How can you survive only one month? Explain.
Answer: You can't. Because You don't have any food. You would go insane before one month is up. The room wouldn't provide enough oxygen for you and the rats to survive.
Riddle:
There is a man stood on top of a mountain frozen holding a peice of straw. How did he get there?
Answer: He was with his friend in a hotair balloon when they were about to hit a mountin so they took of there clothes to make it lighter so they would go higher but it wasnt working so they drew straws and who ever had the shortest straw would have to jump out so he was the one who picked the shortest straw.
