Answer: There was the father, his son, and his son's son. This equals 2 fathers and 2 sons for a total of 3!

A big person and a small person are going to fish. The big person is not the small person's father but the small person is the big person's son. What is the relationship between the two?
Answer: The big person is the small person's mother.

There were two mothers and two daughters, and they all went fishing. All of them caught a fish but when they counted there were only three fish. How was this possible?
Answer: There were only three because there was a grandmother a mother and a daughter. The mother was the daughter to the grandmother and she was the mother to the mother and the daughter was the daughter to the mother.

James ordered a fishing rod, priced at $3.56. Unfortunately, James is an Eskimo who lives in a very remote part of Greenland and the import rules there forbid any package longer than 4 feet to be imported. The fishing rod was 4 feet and 1 inch, just a little too long, so how can the fishing rod be mailed to James without breaking the rules? Ideally, James would like the fishing rod to arrive in one piece!
Answer: Insert the fishing rod into a box which measures 4 feet on all sides, the fishing rod will fit within the diagonal of the box with room to spare.

Stanley loved fishing and also loved boasting about how an amazing person he is. One day he went into a bar after fishing, and started telling people in the bar about something that just happened. "So I was fishing by the waters, really nice breeze, and suddenly there was this person who creeped from behind and wanted to stab me in the stomach. Because I'm so good in Kung Fu, I turned back and WHAM! I slapped him in the face!" Everyone enjoyed the rest of the story when one person asked him: "You're lying, Stan, are you?" How did the man knew that Stanley was lying?
Answer: How can the man stab Stanley in the stomach if he's creeping up from BEHIND?
Riddle:
Once upon a time, John was walking in the woods to go fishing for some food but got lost. But he got across and old house and asked the owner, the owner invited John and they began to tell a story. The old man said "Once upon a time, two best friends were on a deserted island. There was no food at all, so they began to die of hunger. They agreed to fight until one of them died. The winner would eat the loser and thus will be saved. Besides, no one would ever know about that. They began to fight. And finally one of the best friends won." Meaning that the other was eaten and betrayed. Then, John pulled out a gun and killed the old man at once. Why would he do it?

Such a slim little stripe in a shiny, round coat! How it grows in the warm sun's bright rays! But its jacket still fits, and it's worthy of note That it isn't so, tall on cool days. Hint: It's not a fishing pole.
