"Farmer" Riddles - First 10 of 26.

Riddle: A farmer in California owns a beautiful pear tree. He supplies the fruit to a nearby grocery store. The store owner has called the farmer to see how much fruit is available for him to purchase. The farmer knows that the main trunk has 24 branches. Each branch has exactly 12 boughs and each bough has exactly 6 twigs. Since each twig bears one piece of fruit, how many plums will the farmer be able to deliver?
Answer: None. A pear tree does not bear plums.
Riddle: A farmer has twenty sheep, ten pigs, and ten cows. If we call the pigs cows, how many cows will he have?
Answer: Ten Cows. We can call the pigs cows but it doesn't make them cows.
Riddle: Why don't cows have money?
Answer: Because the farmer milks them dry.
Riddle: Stranger: Does your dog bite? Farmer: Nope. All of a sudden the dog bites the stranger on the leg. Yet the farmer was telling the truth! How can this be?
Answer: It was not the farmers dog!  hahahaha
Riddle: If there are fifteen crows on a fence and the farmer shoots a third of them, how many crows are left?
Answer: None. The rest of the crows flew away when they heard the gunshot.
Riddle: There was a farmer making his way to the market with a fox, a chicken, and some grain. He came to a clearing with a stream. He saw a boat nearby, but he could only take one of his items with him. He knew if he took the grain, and left the fox and chicken, the fox would eat the chicken., and if he took the fox, the chicken would eat the grain. How do you get all of them across?
Answer: You take the chicken across, and then go back for the fox. While you are dropping off the fox, take the chicken back, and then get the grain, and take it across. Then go back and get the chicken. Share this with your friends!
Riddle: A farmer has 17 sheep and all but 9 die. How many are left alive?
Answer: 9. All but nine die.
Riddle: If a rooster laid 11 eggs and the farmer took 5 of them and another rooster laid 14 eggs and 5 of them were rotten. How many eggs were left?
Answer: 0, Roosters don't lay eggs.
Riddle: A farmer was playing hide and seek with his wife. His wife hid in their family's vehicle. How did the farmer find his wife?
Answer: He tractor down! (TRACKED HER down)
Riddle: If a farmer has 5 haystacks in one field and 4 haystacks in the other field, how many haystacks would he have if he combined them all in another field?
Answer: One. He Combined them into one.
