Riddle:
Nick and John are friends. Every morning, they go to the cafe to drink lemonade. Nick drinks fast and John drinks slowly. But Bob, a cook in the cafe, did not like them. So one day, he decided to poison them. He puts the same amount of ice, lemonade, and poison. But only John dies. What is going on and how did this happen?
Answer: It was because Bob put the poison on the ice. Since Nick drinks fast, the ice never melted in to Nick's lemonade. But John drinks slowly so the ice melted in his lemonade. So since the ice had poison on it and it melted in John's lemonade, John died.

This is a thought puzzle that presents an interesting paradox. Solving it will require some divergent thinking on your part. Mr. Puh Z. Elle went into Sandy's Specialty Shop one day to make a purchase. Read their conversation below and then try to answer the question that follows. Sandy shop Good morning, Mr. Elle. "Good morning, Sandy. I'm looking to buy some of these. How much does one cost?" "One? That would be 50 cents." All right, what if I buy 12?" Twelve would be one dollar, Mr. Elle. "That sounds good. I would like 312." One dollar and 50 cents, please." There you go. Thank you, Sandy. "You too, Mr. Elle." The above story makes perfect sense if you can figure out what Mr. Elle bought. When you do this, it will explain the apparent price discrepancies. What did Mr. Elle buy?
Answer: Number decorations, because each number is 50 cents. 1 which is only one number is 50 cents, 12 which is two numbers is 1 dollar because 50+50 cents= 1 dollar and same with 312, it is three numbers so it is 50+50+50 cents which is equal 1 dollar and 50 cents. The other answer could also just be that for how many he buys each number in the amount is 50 cents so really it could be anything as long as it fits this equation.
