Answer: Jack’s horse was named January 1st. When it said that January 1st passed, that meant the horse passed away. 2 months later, Jack rode out of town on his new horse named January 2nd in honor of January 1st.
Riddle:
Once upon a time, John was walking in the woods to go fishing for some food but got lost. But he got across and old house and asked the owner, the owner invited John and they began to tell a story. The old man said "Once upon a time, two best friends were on a deserted island. There was no food at all, so they began to die of hunger. They agreed to fight until one of them died. The winner would eat the loser and thus will be saved. Besides, no one would ever know about that. They began to fight. And finally one of the best friends won." Meaning that the other was eaten and betrayed. Then, John pulled out a gun and killed the old man at once. Why would he do it?
Riddle:
How many eyes does it take to outstare a goldfish, if one person is blind, and the other is wearing glasses?
Answer: None, in order to stare, you have to see, but if you were wearing glasses you would just be staring at the glass. So in order to outstare a gold fish, you would have to have no eyelids, which would be impossible for the eye to function properly.
Riddle:
You are surrounded by three man in a wooden room. One man has a knife, one has a rope and the other has a torch. You have no items besides the clothes on your back. How did you escape?
Answer: The torch the man was holding fell and burned the flooring, revealing an exit.
