Answer: It didn't because roosters don't lay eggs.

How can you cut a cheese round into 8 pieces with only three cuts?
Answer: First you cut the cylinder lengthwise. With the two pieces stacked end to end, you cut the cheese into quarters with two cuts. The result is three cuts and 8 pieces of cheese. See the image below for three cuts needed to divide a cheese round into eight pieces.
Riddle:
A judge has a murder case. The person who was murdered has a family member who thinks they found the murderer. The family members' lawyer called up a witness. The lawyer asked where the witness was on the day of the murder. The witness says "Well it was like any other Sunday morning, I got the mail, went to Jill's diner, and then went home and watched cartoons for the rest of the day." The lawyer says "he is lying!" How does the lawyer know the witness is lying?
Answer: The witness says he went to get the mail and there are no mail deliveries on sundays. Also Sunday cartoons are only in the morning so how could the witness be watching them all day?
Riddle:
There are two doors. The door on the right leads to freedom and the door on the left leads to a room full of lions, but you don't know which one is which. There are two guards. One always tells the truth and one always tells a lie, but you don't know which guard is which either. What will you ask both of the guards to know which door leads to freedom?
Answer: Ask the guards what would the other guard say if you asked which leads to freedom. Then pick the opposite door. - Explanation: The guard that tells the truth would have to tell the truth so they would say what the other one would say, the door on the left. The guard that tells a lie would have to tell a lie so they would also say the door on the left. You would pick the oppisite door because you know one guard always tells the truth and you asked what the other guard would say and they both said the same answer, the wrong one.
