Answer: A blind man set his alarm to go off in 10 minutes so that he could have a swim for a while and then when he heard the bell ringing he could swim that way to shore. Unfortunately at the same time as he's swimming there's an ocean cruiser going by. The bell rings on the cruiser and the man swims towards it and dies. Then his alarm goes off.
