The police immediately fined Suzan for lying. Why?
Answer: Suzan said she left her purse on the table, but she also said she hung up her purse on the bathroom stall door.
Riddle:
John didn't like his neighbor Tom. Tom had an identical car to John's. One morning John called the police and said his car was stolen. The police asked John where his wife, Megan, was. John said, "My wife is at work. It must have been my neighbor Tom who stole my car." John pointed to Tom's driveway. "That's my car!" John exclaimed. The police asked John to call his wife. The police asked if Megan knew where John's car was. Megan said, "My car is in the shop, so I borrowed John's car to get to work." The police immediately knew John was lying. How did they know?
Answer: If Megan drove John's car to work, how could Tom steal it?
