Answer: The men are firemen who were on night-shift duty at their firehouse. When they heard the fire alarm, they got dressed, slid down the fire pole, and got in the fire truck.

Riddle: One day a man was going to the police station. He told the police about the incident he had. He told the police that he was going to the bank with $10,000,000 in his briefcase. He said that a robber snatched the briefcase from the man and ran away. The police asked the man what the robber looked like. The man said he couldn't really see the robber's face or anything else because the robber was wearing a black jumpsuit, mask, and gloves. The police nodded. Then, the police saw a fresh cut on the man's face. He asked if that was the result of the attack. The man said he saw the robber wearing a diamond ring. The police immediately realized the man was lying and put the man in jail. How did the police know?
Answer: The man said that the robber was wearing black gloves. Who wears a ring on top of their gloves?
Riddle: What did the janitor say when he jumped out of the closet?

Riddle: What comes first the chicken or the egg?
Answer: Chicken! The word 'chicken' is in front of the word egg. Hence making it first.
Riddle: There are four words. Two of them have four letters, and the other two have five letters. The four-letter words have two vowels and two consonants. The five-letter words have two vowels and three consonants. If you read one of the four-letter words backward, you will get the other four-letter word. If you put a consonant in the beginning of a four-letter word you'll get one of the five-letter words. If you put the same consonant to the end of the other four-letter word you will get the other five-letter word, which is also read backward as the first five-letter word. There is a correlation between the one of the four and one of the five-letter words. The same goes for the other two words. One pair has to do with something bad and the other pair has to do with life. What are the words?

Riddle: A hiker comes to a fork in the road and doesn't know which way to go to reach his destination. There are two men at the fork, one of whom always tells the truth while the other always lies. The hiker doesn't know which is which, though. He may ask one of the men only one question to find his way. Which man does he ask, and what is the question?
Answer: Either man should be asked the following question: "If I were to ask you if this is the way I should go, would you say yes?" While asking the question, the hiker should be pointing at either of the directions going from the fork.
