Answer: Strategy: Convert all the times to London time. From the first sentence, London time (LT) is 5 hours ahead of New York time (NYT). The first plane departs at 12 noon LT and arrives at 11 AM NYT, which is 4 PM LT, so the travel time is 4 hours. The second plane leaves New York at 12 noon NYT, which is 5 PM LT. The travel time is 4 hours, So it is 9 pm in London when the second plane arrives.
