Riddle: a man is sentenced to death because he comitted high treason. He is allowed to make one final statement.
If this statement is true, he will be hanged. If the statement is false he will be shot. However after the man made his final statement, the court could not take either of those actions. What was the man's final statement?

Answer: the man said "i will be shot". He would say this because if the staement were true he would be hanged, but that would make it false, which would mean he'd have to be shot, but that would make it true again. It go back and forth like that forever, so therefore the court could not take any action.
