Elevator?!?

Riddle: There is a man who lives on the top floor of an appartment complex.every day he takes the elevator down and goes to work. when coming back from work if it is a sunny day he only goes up to the 10th floor on the elevator and then walks up the stairs the rest of the way.on a rainy day he takes the elevator all the way up.
why is that?
(the stairs are inside so its not because he doesn't want to get wet)

Answer: He is a midget and can't reach the top floor button in the elevator....so when its a rainy day he has his umbrella to poke at the top floor button!
