Riddle: A man was robbed at midnight. The value of the items added up to ten thousand dollars When the police checked, there were two copies of the thief standing outside the door. The police arrested the correct one right away. How could they know?
Answer: The thief stole money. It was falling out of his pockets.
Riddle: Many years ago a boy and a girl are planning to run off and get married. But the boy got cold feet and needed to tell the girl. He wanted to send a telegram, but only had enough money for one word. What one word did he send?

Riddle: A traveling circuit judge and a local constable had friendly discussions about how to handle misbehavior in their city. This involves burglars, robbers, cattle rustlers, drunks, and ladies of the night. The options they discussed were to put them in jail, run them out of town, warn them, or try to rehabilitate them with books, music, and art. Since the circuit judge traveled, much of this correspondence have to be by telegraph. One day the constable apprehended a lady of the night and telegraphed the circuit judge asking what to do. He described her as being young and having just taken the wrong path. The circuit judge wanted to respond to the constable. But when he got to the telegraph office realized he had only enough money to send one word. What one word did he send?
Answer: Horticulture.
Riddle: Three mountain climbers paid a lot of money to be the first to scale a mountain. After several days of climbing they finally reached the pinnacle, and to their dismay, found a cabin and three frozen bodies. Since the mountain climbers were the first to ever climb the summit, how could this be possible?
Answer: They found a cabin of an airplane that had crashed there with 3 bodies in it.
Riddle: A robber came into my store and stole $100 from the register without my knowledge. A few minutes later, the same guy came back with the $100 he stole and purchased $70 worth of items and I gave him $30 in change. How much money did I lose?
Answer: I lost $100
Riddle: A man has 3 wives, and each one has 3 houses, in one of the houses for every wife his mother-in-law lives. He goes to the first house with money, the mother doubles it, he leaves half, he goes to his second wife, the mother doubles it again, he leaves the same amount as to first wife, he goes to the third house and the mother doubles it again, he leaves the same amount as to first one, but goes home with no money. 2 wives are sister and they have the same mother. How much money did he have?

Riddle: If you take me four steps forward from the ball you will see something making a noise. but if you take me four more steps you will need to pay money. Who am i?
Answer: The letter A. If you take the letter 'a' from the word 'ball' and you move it four steps it becomes 'e' and the word is 'bell' and it makes noise and then you move it four more it becomes 'i' and then the word is 'bill' and you need to pay money.
Riddle: I am needed to survive, but when am here there is evil and good, when am gone others come in, you don't seek me you die. What I am?
Answer: Money.
Riddle: Janie's friends were chipping in to buy her a wedding shower present. At first, 10 friends chipped in, but 2 of them dropped out. Each of the 8 had to chip in another dollar to bring the amount back up. How much money did they plan to collect?
