I have three colors, each with a different meaning. When I'm old they become dull, but when I'm new they are gleaming. I help keep people safe, but sometimes they hate me. You won't see me in a forest, but you will in a big city. Some of me have short lengths, and some of me have long. And in the time that the longest of me take, you could sing a very long song. When my colors change, people get happy or sad, and when you guess what I am, you will be very glad. What am I?
Answer: A Stoplight.
Riddle:
I am life, yet not real. When we first meet, things are dark. When we leave each other, you are in the light. I meet many people with and after you. What am I?
Answer: A movie.
Riddle:
I come out at night, I am nor human nor animal, I rarely eat I only drink, I can only be found at night, I will glow in sunlight. What am I?
Answer: A vampire.
Riddle:
There was a man driving a truck. There was a woman standing in front of the truck. The truck had no lights on and the moon was not up. How did the man see the woman?
Answer: It was daytime.

Riddle:
A young girl, Violet by name, was visiting with a group of her schoolmates at a friend's house. The air was filled with the noise of loud conversations, when an older woman called out for silence. She then asked one of the girls in attendance to remove something from a black bag she was holding. The older woman then announced, "Violet, you have the honor of being first!" Violet was then ushered to the center of the room where the older woman pushed a body part of an animal into Violet's hand. Suddenly, everything went dark for the young girl. Violet began to feel dizzy, and felt someone's hands on her. She then felt a slight push. As Violet staggered forward in the darkness, the loud chanting and shouting increased around her. Finally, Violet's hand bumped into something which, when the darkness was gone, gave her a feeling of pleasure and satisfaction. Was this scenario part of some bizarre, warped initiation into some strange cult, or is there a more pleasant explanation for these events.
Answer: Violet was at a birthday party, and was selected to be first in the Pin the Tail on the Donkey game they were playing. She was successful in pinning the tail just where it belonged. The body part of the animal was, of course, the donkey’s tail.
Riddle:
I want everything within sight. The impossible will not flee my plight. I will take it all by any means. To have is my heart's very need. A bottomless pit that nothing will fill. I have even led humans to kill. What am I?
Answer: Greed.
Riddle:
I begin in colour as black as night Then shine a redish shade so bright Finally I finish sometimes taking flight In the colour of a pale, grayish white. What am I?
Answer: Coal.
