Riddle:
Cameron Fitzgerald, a famous scientist, was found killed in his laboratory. Detective R.I. Dill was called to the scene. The only clue was a written note saying "66, 57, 7 - P.T" Detective Dill found 4 suspects who were nearby at the time of the murder. Jake Willow, Cameron's best friend, Samantha Fitzgerald, Cameron's wife, Dylan Hemlock, Cameron's assistant, and Amy Dill, Det. Dill's sister and Cameron's chauffeur. After re-reading the note, Detective Dill immediately knew who it was. Who was the killer and how did Detective Dill know? (Hint - The answer is science-related)
Answer: It was Dylan. The note was referring to the periodic table of elements, a.k.a 'P.T' The numbers 66, 57 and 7 are (in order): Dysprosium, Lanthanum and Nitrogen. Dysprosium is symbolized by 'Dy', Lanthanum for 'La' and Nitrogen is 'N'.
Riddle:
I can be shouted to claim, dug for riches, or buried to maim, three meanings packed in one short word. What am I?
Answer: Mine.
“Mine” carries three distinct meanings that match each clue: Shouted to claim: someone yells “Mine!” to assert ownership. Dug for riches: a mine is a place where minerals, coal, or gems are extracted. Buried to maim: a land mine is an explosive device concealed underground. The riddle packs these homonyms into one word, making “mine” the perfect answer.
Riddle:
My Grandpa Joe is nearly a hundred years old, and he has been experiencing some memory loss recently. Around breakfast time the other day, he was in the kitchen, and couldn’t find something he was desperately hunting. “Where are those delicious little puffs of goodness your mother always keeps in here?” he asked me. “You know, the ones that sound like they came out of a swamp; you know, those tasty little cylinders made of sugar, water, corn syrup, gelatin, and glucose. How does your mother expect me to have my morning cup of cocoa?” he asked in a frustrated manner. “I am looking for those white things which are often found out in the woods near campfires. Why, there was even a giant one I saw last week when I was watching that original Ghostbusters movie with you,” said Grandpa Joe. With the help of all the clues he had just given me, I was able to locate the items my grandfather had been seeking. Can you tell me what those items were?
Answer: They sound like they come from a Swamp because they are: MARSH MALLOWS.
Riddle:
Walker has to unlock his locker to get his uniform and get dressed for his basketball game. However, his lock requires a three-digit code to be unlocked. Walker doesn't know the exact code, but here are some clues. A) 8-6-5 One number is correct and in the right position. B) 8-4-0 One number is correct but in the wrong position. C) 3-5-0 Two numbers are correct but in the wrong positions. D) 3-6-9 Nothing is correct. E) 7-6-9 One number is correct but in the wrong position. What is the code?
Answer: The code is 0-7-5. Starting with Clue D, we can eliminate 3, 6, and 9, and all instances of those numbers, because none of them are in the final code. 8 cannot be in the final code because Clues A and B would contradict each other if it was in the code. This means that 5 is in the code, and it takes the third position; we can therefore eliminate 4, too. From Clue C, we can conclude that 5 and 0 are part of the code, because 3 is not (we already eliminated it based on Clue D). And based on Clue E, the last digit we need is 7, because we already eliminated 6 and 9 based on Clue D. We do not know the positions of 0 and 7, however, but we know that 5 takes the third position, which leaves us with just two options for the code: either 7-0-5 or 0-7-5. 7-0-5 cannot be the code because it would contradict Clue E since 7 cannot go in the first position; it can only go in the second position, while 0 goes in the first position. This means that the correct code is 0-7-5.
Riddle:
Spencer wakes up in the middle of a forest. A few seconds later, a witch and three magic tunnels–a red, a yellow, and a blue–appear in front of the guy. The witch tells Spencer, "Two of these tunnels will make you disappear forever, and the other one will send you back to your house. Listen to these clues VERY carefully,". Clue 1: Choose the red tunnel, and you won't not disappear. Clue 2: It's a lie to say that the yellow tunnel isn't dissimilar. Clue 3: The blue tunnel doesn't have less in common with the red than with the yellow. Which tunnel should Spencer choose?
Answer: Spencer should choose the yellow tunnel. If he chooses the red tunnel, he will not NOT disappear; in other words, Spencer WILL disappear if he enters the red tunnel. We can therefore exclude the red tunnel. If he chooses the blue tunnel, he will also disappear; this is because the blue tunnel doesn't have less in common with red than yellow. In other words, the blue tunnel has more in common with red than yellow, so the blue tunnel will also make Spencer disappear. Choosing the yellow tunnel is the safest option because if it's a lie to say that yellow isn't dissimilar, the truth is that yellow IS different from the red and blue tunnels.

Riddle:
With lines and scars, I feel the sun but see no stars. I'm shed, I'm stretched, I hide what's within. What am I?
Answer: Skin. The skin is our body’s remarkable outer shield. It carries the story of our lives in the form of lines and scars, sensing the warmth of the sun or the chill of the air—yet it cannot see. Always renewing itself as old cells are shed, skin stretches to accommodate growth, pregnancy, and movement. At the same time, it serves as a protective veil, concealing the intricate organs and tissues beneath. All these clues point unmistakably to the skin: the living canvas that both reveals and hides who we are.

Those who embrace me will lose their fear of me, but they will lose something of themselves in the process. What am I?
