Riddle: A man is traveling to a town and comes to a fork in the road. If he goes left, he goes to the liars' village. If he goes right, he then goes to the village of truths - which is where he wants to go. However, he does not know which way is which.
He doesn't have time to go both routes, so he approaches a stranger who is standing in the middle of the fork. The stranger is from one of the villages, but what he doesn't know about that stranger is that he either speaks the truth or lies. However, the man goes up to the stranger and asks him one question. He now knows which path leads to the village of truths after he answered.
Can you figure it out what the man asked the stranger?
The man asks the stranger to point the path back to his own village. If he is from the village of truths, he’ll be pointing at his own village which is where he wants to go. But if he is not, he’ll still be pointing at the same village because he wants to give a dishonest answer.
So, either way will work and he’ll just have to take the path where the stranger is pointing at.
Riddle: A man went to his genius doctor and collected 2 red and blue pills, which give a superpower if one red and blue pills were eaten together. He only needed 1 for each but his doctor gave him spare ones just in case if he gets lost, and also the doctor warned him that an overdose will cause the opposite effect and may end up killing him instead. So, he grabbed and put them in his pocket.
On his way home, he got abducted by kidnappers and they put him in a dark room where there's no hope of escaping. At this point, he remembered about the pills from his doctor. He took them out and realized that he can't see the colours of the pills and anything, due to the absence of light. He must eat both of them now before they come and kill him. He can't eat 2 red or blue pills. That will do the same affect if he eats all of them.
How is he going to do this?
Answer: He has to take all of them out from his pocket and start dividing them in halves. When he finishes, he’ll end up having eight pills. He’ll just have to eat four of them and put the others aside.
