Riddle: Squeeze me and I cry tears as red as flesh, but my heart is made of stone. What am I?
Answer: A cherry.
Riddle: I can bring tears to your eyes; resurrect the dead, make you smile, and reverse time. I form in an instant but last a lifetime. What am I?
Answer: A Memory.
Riddle: You can feel me but, I can't feel you. I can uproot trees and tear roofs off their houses. Yet, I can make a Baby sleep and be gentle. I can howl and whisper. I can spread and stop fires. I can toss boats and help them glide too. What am I?
Answer: I am the wind.
Riddle: Tear off one and scratch its head, what was red is now black instead. What is It?
Answer: A Matchstick!
Riddle: I'm sometimes white, and always wrong. I can break a heart and hurt the strong. I can build love and tear it down. I can make a smile, but more often bring a frown. What am I?
Answer: I am a lie.
Riddle: We are a pair, We can dart here and there, Though we always stay in one place. We can smile or shed tears, Show our pleasure or fears, And you'll find us on everyone's face. What are we?
Answer: Two eyes.
Riddle: I am the black child of a white father, a wingless bird, flying even to the clouds of heaven. I give birth to tears of mourning in pupils that meet me, even though there is no cause for grief, and at once on my birth, I am dissolved into air. Who am I?
Answer: I am Smoke.
Riddle: A young woman enjoys riding around on a large machine which has huge tires on the back and smaller tires on the front. She rarely carries any passengers. At times, she takes her machine on the highway, but she prefers to drive off-road to accomplish her missions. Her machine is not built for speed, as she can only reach a top speed of 25 mph. The strange thing about this woman is her hatred of grass --- she allows only a small patch of grass to exist on her property. To accomplish this, the young woman loves to use her large machine to tear up the ground on her property, until only a small portion of grass remains around her home. What is this woman's occupation, and what is the machine she uses in her profession?
Answer: The young woman is a farmer, and the machine she uses is a tractor.
Riddle: What can bring tears to your eyes, make you move faster, make you move slower and knock you over?
Answer: The wind.
Riddle: When I am sad, I change colour from white to grey. My tears fall to the ground and my cries are low and rumbling. In my anger I send great flashes of light above. What am I?
Answer: A cloud.
