Riddle: I always follow you around, everywhere you go at night. I look very bright to people, but I can make the sun dark. I can be in many different forms and shapes. What am I?
Answer: The moon!
Riddle: All the electricity was out in town and none of the street lights or traffic signals had power. A dark limousine was cruising down the newly paved blacktop, with its headlights off. A young boy dressed totally in black (with no reflectors) stepped out to cross the street. The moon wasn't out and the boy had no flashlight, yet the driver stopped to let the boy cross the street. How did the driver see the boy?
Answer: The driver saw the boy because it was during the daylight hours.
Riddle: My farther is the moon, my mother is the sea, I die when I reach land. What am I?
Answer: Waves.
Riddle: This thing devours all things. All man, all beasts, all flowers and trees. Even the fiery sun, and the shadowy moon, will one day be devoured by this thing. Stone it grinds, metal it bites. And it shall make wood rot. Is it powerful? Well it is rather not, but it kills powerful things a lot. Its immortal yet it is not some type of god. What is it?
Answer: Time.
Riddle: Why is the moon like a dollar?
Answer: Because it has four quarters.
Riddle: How does the moon cut his hair?
Answer: E-clipse it!
Riddle: People have stepped on me, but not many. I never stay full for long. I have a dark side. What am I?
Answer: The moon.
Riddle: I am something, I am nothing. I am short, I am tall. When you fall at your sport, then I stumble and fall. I have never been yet seen beneath a new moon. I thrive in the evening but vanish at noon. I am lighter than air, I weigh less than a breath. Darkness destroys me and light is my death. What am I?
Answer: A shadow.
Riddle: Why did the moon skip diner?
Answer: Because it was full.
Riddle: I can be half without getting thinner. I can shine with no fire. I can be hidden but never taken. I can stay dry while moving the ocean. What am I?
Answer: The Moon.
