Riddle: There are two sisters; one gives birth to the other, who in turn gives birth to the first. Who are they?
Answer: Day and night. Both words that are both feminine in the Greek language.
Riddle: There was a man who was born before his father, killed his mother, and married his sister. Yet, there was nothing wrong with what he had done. Why?
Answer: His father was in front of him when he was born, therefore he was born before him. His mother died while giving birth to him. Finally, he grew up to be a minister and married his sister at her ceremony.
Riddle: How old is your son? asked a man to his neighbour. My son is five times as old as my daughter and my wife is five times as old as my son. Iam twice as old as my wife whereas my grandmother, who is celebrating her eighty-first birthday is as old as all of us put togeather. How old is the man's son?
Answer: Five.
Riddle: When it's alive we sing, when it is dead we clap our hands. What is it?
Answer: A birthday candle.
Riddle: Joe is turning 17 this year, yet he turned 16 yesterday. How is this possible?
Answer: Joe's birthday is on December 31, the last day of the year. The current day was January 1st of the next year.
Riddle: What do you call a 100-year-old ant?
Answer: An antique!
Riddle: A mother gave birth to six kids. The first daughter's name is July. The second daughter's name is August. The third daughter's name is September. The fourth daughter's name is October. The next child was a boy, therefore, she named him November. The mother was planning on having a girl named December, but it turned out that she got a boy. If she didn't name him December, what is his name?
Answer: Jason. She took the first letter of the names of her children. July, August, September, October, November.
Riddle: There was a poor man sitting in a restaurant and a rich man came in. The poor man said that he could sing any song in the world if he was given a name. The rich man bet all the money in his wallet that he couldn't sing a song with Susan in it. The poor man went away rich and the rich man went away poor. What song did the poor man sing?
Answer: Happy birthday.
Riddle: I'm with you from birth. I make you feel everyday. Without me, you're nothing. What am I?
Answer: Your soul.
Riddle: Aiyleen is having her 3rd birthday party. But she has been alive for 12 years. How is that possible?
Answer: Her birthday is on a leap year! (February 29th)
