Riddle: A man takes a basketball and throws it as hard as he can. There is nothing in front, behind, or on either side of him, and yet, the ball comes back and hits him square in the face. How can this be?
Answer: He threw the ball straight up in the air.
Riddle: There's a one-story house in which everything is yellow. Yellow walls, yellow doors, yellow furniture. What color are the stairs?
Answer: There are none. It's a one-story house.
Riddle: Why did the golfer wear two pairs of pants?
Answer: In case he got a hole-in-one.
Riddle: There were two pairs hanging on a tree, one man walked by and took a pair. Soon after a second man also took a pear from the tree. However, even after both men took fruit from the tree there was still a pear left on the tree. How could this be?
Answer: There were four pears (2 pairs) on the tree. The first man took a pair (2 pears) and the second only took one pear leaving one pear on the tree.
Riddle: I keep a watch but I have no eyes. I'm a little less than handy. I can be hairy but I'm not on a head. What am I?
Answer: A wrist.
Riddle: I'm not an airplane, but I can fly through the sky. I'm not a river, but I'm full of water. What am I?
Answer: A cloud.
Riddle: What goes up and down at the same time but doesn't move?
Answer: Stairs!
Riddle: While exploring the wilds of Canada, Wild Man Dave was captured by hostile wood fairies. Brad, the powerful chief of the fairies told him he could make one final statement that would determine how he would die. If the statement he made was false, he would be boiled in water. If the statement were true, he would be fried in oil. Wild Man Dave found neither of these options to his liking, so he made a statement that got him out of this seemingly impossible situation. What is the one statement he could have made?
Answer: Wild Man Dave said: "You will boil me in water." The fairies were faced with a dilemma. If they boil him in water, that would make his statement true, which means he should have been fried in oil. They can only fry him in oil if he makes a true statement, but if they do, it would make his final statement false. The fairies had no way our of their situation so they were forced to set Wild Man Dave free.
Riddle: A man goes upstairs to grab his time machine. He walks downstairs then goes back in time 200 years. Why did he go downstairs?
Answer: Because if he went back in time from upstairs, that would be a nasty fall because the house wouldn't have been there 200 years ago
Riddle: What would you get if you crossed two bananas?
Answer: A pair of slippers.
